Team Loughton complete 70 mile bike ride for Structure Tone Charity Sportive! Team Loughton were very busy last week, taking part in two intense charity events! Craig, Jared, Harry, Stuart and Shaun completed a 70-mile road bike ride for the Structure Tone Charity Sportive on Thursday 23rd September in aid of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity. Team Loughton took part in the ISG ‘Move for Charity’ initiative again last week, putting their stamina to the test for another gruelling seven days! Craig, Jared, Stuart and George competed against 46 other teams, and managed to finish in a very good, 9th place! Together, they covered an incredible 746.8 km. That’s further than London to Paris and back! The team helped raise a combined total between every team of £62.7K, which was in aid of Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month. Loughton Contracts help to raise over £20,000 with Mace to complete the Boom Cycle! Last Friday, we teamed up with a few members of the Mace team to do our bit to raise as much money as possible for the MS Society. They embarked on a gruelling 7 hour Spinning Marathon, pushing themselves to the absolute limit. The team raised an amazing £20,000 overall for such a worthy cause. We are delighted to have won Installation of the Year with Havwoods and Milliken in the ‘Residential Developments and Social Housing’ category. Newfoundland is a 60-storey residential development at the western end of the Canary Wharf Estate, designed by leading architects, Horden Cherry Lee.
