A sensitive and colourful addition to Edgeware Road it also features the first new petrol station in central London for more than 25 years which is enhanced by three abstracted petrol pumps from the 1930’s which adorn the schemes frontage act as monuments for the local area and reference pop art and the romantic era of motoring.
The project comprised of more than 3,000m2 of timber flooring as well as 2,500m2 of bespoke soft floor finishes. Havwoods supplied the beautiful engineered timber plank flooring within the private apartments with Tarkett providing the high quality Oak flooring for the affordable apartments. The carpets were supplied by ITC throughout the bedrooms and communal corridor areas as well as staircases with products being made to meet the clients exacting specifications.
The project had its challenges and it took maximum cooperation with the construction team, at times out of hours. The tight programme was also a challenge, but the team stepped up to the mark and got it completed on time. The project was a huge success, with everyone being delighted with the final end product.
